Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to conduct a work assessment selection at PT
Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. This research was conducted because at the
moment the determination of the criteria is still based on subjective assessments
by Human Resource Development because of the need for a projection or
prediction in the determination of employees at PT Garuda to get good
performance scores. This research was conducted by predicting employee
performance based on Environmental Performance Rating (EPR) values so as to
provide an effective and efficient time for making employee performance
appraisal decisions. This C4.5 algorithm uses data mining techniques to process
data as many as 1194 data records in which C4.5 will determine data by
performance appraisal based on each of its attributes namely gender, epr1, epr2,
epr3, epr4. By using confusion matrix validation training data with a total of 14
sample data get an accuracy value of 83%. This C4.5 method is also used to
determine the employee monitoring process and the determination of salary
increase or promotion promotions.
