Abstract :
Skills certificates are useful as parameters for one's expertise, including EPrT certificates. The obstacle is the falsification of certificates can be occured, and causing data manipulation. In this research, the problem is how to prove the validity of EPrT certificates authenticity by using a QR code and AES encryption system. Adding a QR code to the certificate could be an identity and minimize the existence of certificate forgery. The application of the AES method in this research is used in the form of adding data encryption with the AES method on the QR code, with the aim to make the data safer. In this research the addition of the AES decryption system was also used in the scanning system. Thus, the results achieved in this research is to create a system that could validate the EPrT certificates authenticity using QR code. Adding encryption to the QR code makes other scanning systems could not read the information contained . Thus, the information contained in the QR code is safe, and could only be read by the system in this research.
