Abstract :
Kusta Hospital in Kediri, specifically its Pharmacy Installation has a duty to manage all data and drug stocks. The Pharmacy Installation of Hospital in Kediri has difficulties in controlling the remaining stock of medicines/drugs in the hospital. Problems that exist in the hospital pharmacy are: The record and control of the first drug stocks in the pharmacy unit of Kusta Hospital is still manually done, and the pharmacists still have difficulty in determining the number of drug stocks and when the drug should be purchased. This case sometimes causes drug shortage and overstocking in the hospital. This web-based Pharmacy Information System is expected to help the pharmacy in Kusta Hospital to find out the remaining drug stock in the hospital. With this system, a new idea to use the Economic Order Quantity and Re Order Point methods appears. By using the Economic Order Quantity method, the hospital can find out the most economical orders that should be done, and when to order the drug or Re Order Point by considering the safety stock in the pharmacy installations.
