Abstract :
Supplier of raw materials or often referred to as vendors is the main resource in improving the quality and quantity in a company, so a qualified vendor is needed to improve the quality. PT. Garuda Indonesia is a world class airline that requires quality vendors to improve its services to be able to compete and make the nation proud. Of course it takes a system that is able to provide an assessment of vendors so that companies can find out whether the vendor is qualified and able to meet those needs. Currently PT. Garuda Indonesia still uses the form in hardcopy form for vendor assessments that allow the file to be lost. In this system there is no process for ranking vendors so that they can provide a solution for the company to consider the vendor can make a contract extension in the next period or not. Based on these problems, in this study a ranking system was developed using the SAW method to conduct vendor assessments. This system uses three criteria quality, service and delivery that has been made by the company, processed by SAW calculations, then produces the best vendor valuation list. The results of the decision support system testing stated that the system was running correctly, so the system could be used to help companies in evaluating more objective vendors.
