Abstract :
The study, entitled "Design of Monitoring and Forecasting Information
Systems for Drug Supply Using Double Exponential Smoothing", discusses the
problem of drug recording systems in the vice president's secretariat polyclinic.
The drug recording activity system is carried out using Excel which requires the
creation of tables every month. For this reason, it is necessary to create an
information system with an attractive and easy-to-use interface for recording and
monitoring drugs in and out of the Polyclinic. In addition, this study also discusses
the forecasting of drug supply requirements for the following month, so that the
shortage or excess inventory of these drugs can be predicted specifically for the
future. This forecasting system uses the Double Exponential Smoothing method
which is the standard calculation in the formulation of the prediction of the drug.
The data used in this study is to use drug expenditure data from the beginning of
January 2018 to June 2018. From these data it can be predicted the number of
drugs that will be used as the next order. The results of this study recording and
monitoring, as well as predictions of drug supplies the following month at the vice
president's secretariat polyclinic specifically and accurately
