Abstract :
PT. Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. is a company engaged in construction,
engineering, investment, infrastructure and realty. In carrying out the business
process of the company, depending on the performance of employees and
absolutely supported by computer devices. The problems associated with
computers or information technology is handled by the IT departement. PT
Waskita Karya doesn?t yet have a good record system of interruptions or
complaints in the IT scope. Recording of complaints is still manual, so that a
report on the handling of complaints and has not been systematic. So to simplify
the IT department to manage the problems that come up, it needs a system that
can handle those problems. This web-based information system, accessible
through localhost of each employee. In this paper the authors research
methodology applied is the Waterfall method. In designing the system, the author
uses UML (Unified Model Language) as a design in creating this web-based
information system. With this system, it is expected to assist employees in
submitting their complaints and also assist the IT department in managing the
complaints. Application testing using black box method to determine whether the
system is functioning properly.
