Abstract :
The increase in customer data at Tirtauli Pematangsiantar PDAM reaches 1,700 to 2,000 customers. Where 90% of the data is household customer data 1 (one) to 6 (six) households. The increase in data affects the tariff for water payments, if the customer classification experiences an error, the company gets a substantial loss. Therefore the authors propose making an application where this application can help the company in classifying the class of customer households and also helps customers to check the water usage rates every month. This household classification application uses the Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor method. This method is used for classification because it has a high degree of accuracy. The results of this application can be used to check the rates used by customers every month, before customers make payments for water usage at the PDAM counter.
