Abstract :
In 2017, the new government regulation divides into two categories for
R1 900 VA tarrifs: R1M for capable citizens and R1 for subsidized citizens.
However in electricity subsidies, the government has various criteria for proper
subsidy distribution. In this essay, a decision support system was created to
help the TNP2K (National Team for Accelerating Poverty Reduction) electing
candidates for electricity subsidies in a fast. Where this application can be used
by the government at the District Office Asakota, Bima. This application uses
the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method which has advantages in the
ability to perform more precise and quick assessment based on predetermined
criteria and preference weights. The results of SAW calculations will be show in
a ranking that will assist the government in comparing the results score of each
citizen according to his poverty level. Data collection was done by observation,
interview, questionnaire and literature study. The results of this study
mentioned that this application can be used as a tool in making decisions
determination of electricity subsidy quickly.
