Abstract :
Indonesia is a country that will be rich in natural abundance, the balance of nature in Indonesia or the world is no longer balanced, the proliferation of developments, especially in terms of conventional power development, the solution is the development of renewable energy generation. PLTMH is suitable to be built in Indonesia, especially in the West Java region of Nagrak, Sukabumi District, which has a strategic location, the PLTMH concept uses high-energy falling water as a turbine driving energy, therefore measurements of height difference and water discharge are measured in the location to be designed. To design the PLTMH, the design of the turbine is done at that location. The data obtained in Turbine design is a discharge of 0.72 m3 / s, height difference is 21 m, and the type of turbine uses a cross-flow turbine. This design produces 80 kW of power and the selling price to PLN is Rp. 911 / kWh and has a play back period of around 4 years.
