Abstract :
Employees are one of factor that very influential of development on a company.
There are 1778 employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Jakarta Raya Distribution,
however in determining transfer of employee (mutation) is not based on the
highest priority value so that can lead to jealousy from another employee. In
processing data it also uses manual system that can causes possibility of
misjudgment and need more time to find data and create employee mutation
reports. Therefore, it will be difficult to determine employees who get mutations
because they require careful consideration and must meet the expected criteria.
To solve this problem, the author applies a decision support system using the
Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This method was chosen because it
is able to select the best alternative in this case the alternative in question is those
who are entitled to receive promotional mutations based on the specified criteria.
While the system development method used is the waterfall. This decision
support system will help PT PLN (Persero) Jakarta Raya Distribution in
determining employee promotion mutations so that they will become more
effective and efficient.
