Abstract :
The management system for seed stock inventory at the Center for Seed Development and Plant Protection is still manual, thus misinformation often occurs. One of the problems is to recap the seedling data as many as 15 gardens, it takes 3 days to complete the recording for one garden, because the management of recap data is not efficient. This study aims to apply the least square method to facilitate employee performance in forecasting the number of seed stocks for the following month. This method uses data trend equations which include time series analysis. From the prediction results, it is known that the value of determination coefficient (R square) is an average of 0.575. The magnitude of the determination coefficient value (R square) 0.575 is 57.7%
