Abstract :
This study discusses the Design of Geographic Information System Railway
Track Traace Plan Mobile-Based aims to inform and assist the Detail
Engineering Design stages of the Ministry of Transportation officials when
checking the location of the cartesian coordinate point of the railway track
and the location of the station to be built. Geographic information system
design is done by coordinate data processing using ArcMap 10.3 application
then its data output is converted to Keyhole Markup Language using Global
Mapper 11 application so that spatial data can be displayed in Google Map
Map of Android device. The design of this geographic information system
using the method of cylindrical projection system with Universal Transverse
Mercator World Standard World Geodetic System 1984 to process cartesian
coordinate data with the method output generated by file conversion into
Keyhole Markup Language can inform Geographic Information via android
device. The geographical information that is displayed on the android device
is a placemark of each railway point trace line containing the cartesian
coordinates and the station placemark to be built.
