Abstract :
Point of sale (POS) mobile application using a priori assocition rule aims to facilitate
employees in giving favorite menus or best sellers to entrants in Talenta Cafe. Also
making transactions easier. Previously, working on transactions and making reports
were done manually in the books. To get the results of the transaction, the cafe
owner often has problems in the calculation of transactions such as data not in
accordance with the items sold. And some consumers do not know the favorite
menus in Talenta cafes. To overcome some of these problems, the design of POS
applications with the a priori association rule method is expected to increase sales
transactions at Talenta Kafe. In this study, the writer uses the basket market
algorithm with a priori association rule method, for designing applications using the
Unified Modeling Language (UML) and testing applications using the International
Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9126, besides that in designing databases
using XML web services and in terms of The author's application implementation
uses the application of JAVA mobile programming language that is using IONIC.
From the results of this study it can be concluded that the Point of Sale (POS) mobile
application using a priori android based assocition rule method, can help cafe
owners, cashiers, and employees in increasing sales transactions at Talenta Kafe,
so that the transaction data obtained during the field is also accurate and (real) facts.
