Abstract :
The problem is most common in high-voltage materials warehousing PT. PLN
Serpong is the field of Logistic difficulties in determining the amount of material
that must be available for the next month in order to still be able to meet the needs
of customers without cause a buildup of material and minimize expenses. This
application can reduce errors in material requests to be filled in the warehousing.
The development model used is waterfall model and system design using Unified
Modelling Languange (UML). The applied method is Weighted Moving Average
because this method is able to give minimum value so that it can predict the stock
of new material in warehousing. The prediction will be presented in Interface
Material warning. The results of this application can present the information of
minimum stock in the warehousing. This application can be measured with
accuracy of ratio 43%. so there is no material overload occurs and we will know
what materials should be supplied in the next month. The test used is a Blackbox.
