Abstract :
This study discusses the classification to decide on handling of employee
complaints ini PT. Garuda Indonesia Garuda City Center Office Area SoekarnoHatta Airport using Vector Space Model (VSM) method. Handling of employee
complaints conducted by staff employee. But sometimes is there some mistakes
taken by them to handling complaints, thus making employees wait for too long.
And this also makes the staff in the Employee Service confuse replying every
complaint that comes every day, because the complaints is sending by email.
Therefore, text mining analysis is needed in the handling of employee complaints.
One important important activity in text mining is the classification or category of
text. The text classification used is the Vector Space Model (VSM) method by
processing data training (Document) and data testing (Query). The data will be
classified according to the complaint level category determined by PT.Garuda
Indonesia. Data will be categorized into 5 classes including Visa and Passport
(d1), Finance (d2), Insurance (d3), Diploma and Certificate (d4), Flying
Restitution (d5). In this research will be produced level of accuracy by automatic
detection, and the result show that this research give a good result in doing
process of handling of complain of employees in PT.Garuda Indonesia.
