Abstract :
Pelabuhan Ratu power plant has 3 high pressure heaters which if there is damage to 1 HPH with all HPH Outservice done, so this condition will cause an increase Heat Rate in case of high pressure heater outservice. This study aims to produce a Heat balance scheme in various HPH conditions to operate the Pelabuhan Ratu 2 power plant with the lowest Heat Rate. The step is to calculate the net work, the heat needed inside boiler and calculate the Heat Rate in HPH scheme condition. The results of the calculation of HPH scheme condition when HPH inservice the Heat Rate is 7532.0 [kJ / kW.h], in the condition of HPH Outservice Heat Rate is 8854.0 [kJ / kW.h], Condition 1 7970.5 [kJ / kW.h], condition 2 7760.8 [kJ /kW.h], condition 3 7229.5 [kJ / kW.h], condition 5 8604.4 [kJ / kW.h], and condition 6 8005 [kJ / kW.h. The results of the research carried out to get a 332 MW heat load inservice HPH condition rate of 7532.0 [kJ / kW.h] to compare the Heat Rate results in each scheme conditions, in the scheme conditions the Heat Rate was not higher than the HPH Outservice condition, the highest peak was in the Outservice HPH condition the Heat Rate is 8854.0 [kJ / kW.h].
