Abstract :
Low temperatures can decrease the appetite of lobsters whereas an inadequate
pH may affect the chemicals or toxins present in the water. For that, we need a
device that can control and monitor the state of temperature and water pH even
though far away in ponds. This research aims to maintain the state of temperature
and pH in the optimal state that ranges between 25oC-29oC and 6-8 pH so as to
improve the survival of freshwater lobster. In the manufacture of the tool used
temperature sensors and pH sensors as parameters to control water quality. In
order to determine the quality of water we used perceptron method to classify
good or bad water quality based on temperature and water pH value. For data
transmission used wifi module ESP8266 as intermediary arduino and server
cloud so that data can be accessed anywhere. The result of this research is
information about the condition of freshwater lobster ponds can be viewed from
the smartphone. In addition, the use of monitoring tools can maintain the
temperature and pH in optimal conditions with the average temperature and pH
produced in the test that is 28.0 oC and 7.03 pH.
