Abstract :
Prediction of the number of courses carried out by secretary majoring in
Informatics Engineering before making a schedule of each course. In practice the
number of classes in each course has a different number and there is often an
opening or closing of classes when the preparation of the KRS results from the
number of classes that are not in accordance with the number of students. A
system is needed to generate predictions of the number of classes, thereby
reducing the possibility of opening a new class because the demand exceeds the
existing class capacity or classroom closure due to a lack of interest in a class to
be opened. Fuzzy method is used to predict the tendency of students who will
repeat a course based on the variable of force and student value. K-Means
method is used to classify subjects with the number of students who repeat into
3 groups based on the number of students who have taken and the number of
students repeat a course. Of the two methods used are implemented into the
system of predictions of the number of classes. The result of the fuzzy and Kmeans method is the output in the class prediction app.
