Abstract :
This study aims to produce an expert system application for the diagnosis of pests and diseases in peanut plants. This application aims to overcome the problems in peanut crops that occur so far in CV. Subur Jaya and Petani, which can help farmers in the fertile triangle in determining the symptoms, pests and diseases and solutions that must be done farmers quickly, accurately and precisely. The method applied to build this system is an expert system with forward-based forward chaining method. Required data collection of symptoms data on peanut plants. Thus, expert systems are presented as the second alternative in solving problems after experts, and lush farmers can use these applications at any time easily
