Abstract :
As our era grows, the amount of fake important document cases like STNK, KTP and Graduation Report keep increasing. This is based on the data that gathered, that is on year 2016 there is 173 cases occur. And then on year 2017 it is increasing to be 345 cases occur. Based on this problem then it is a must to build a system that can protect the originality of some certificate. One of the way is to use steganography technique with least significant bit. Steganography is a technique that used to iject a message into a picture without noticed by people that seeing it. And then least significant bit mean the binary of the message will placed on the last bit of every pixel in the image. Other than injecting the message, firstly the message will be encrypted using secure hash algorithm 512. This encryption function will arrange the characters into random character that is unique, so it cannot be readed easily. People who doesn?t have the right to read cannot fabricate the existing original content.
