Abstract :
Information service is a matter that needs to be considered in every company agency, including the ITCC STT-PLN Laboratory. By utilizing technological developments, it is expected to help the information service process to students by being ready to provide responsses or answers the questions posed by students. One of the most frequently used technologies is internet technology that can easily access Website applications. At the ITCC STT-PLN Laboratory, there is have not applied, a system that ready to do information services to students for 24 hours , for this reason it is necessary to have an application that can be ready to answer questions posed by students in real-time using the TF-IDF and Vector Space Model (Cosine Similarity). TF-IDF and Vector Space Model (Cosine Similarity) able to weight the appropriate answer from the questions posed by students. With this process expected students can immediately receive information from the answer that displayed based on the question they ask.
