Abstract :
The use of water will certainly be closely related to the availability and type of
use such as the use of water for domestic (household), non-domestic, industrial,
irrigation and others. The existence of various interests in the use of water in
various aspects can lead to conflicts both in the use of water and how to obtain it,
so that there is a balance between the two. Analysis of water availability and
demand in this study aims to determine the availability and demand for water
and the condition of the water balance in the Lau Simeme Dam. This study uses
the F. J. Mock method which aims to calculate the availability of water and
reliable discharge in the Percut watershed. From the simulation results of the
reservoir volume of the Lau Simeme Dam, it is obtained that the potential
discharge of the Lau Simeme dam is 21.070.000 m3. Analysis of water demand
used the Geometric Growth method to get the results of population data
projections in 2022, 2027 and 2032. The condition of the water balance at the
Lau Simeme dam is sufficient for water needs from 2022,2027,2032 with a
success rate of 83.88% and a failure rate of 17.22%
