Abstract :
In a construction project, the delay of steel material arrival affects the execution time, therefore, Reinforcing bar material distribution in site become one of the factors which affect the availability of Reinforcing bar material to be worked on. At the North Point Navapark Project, the steel material distribution flow does not yet have time-efficient steps and methods. Soft System Methodology (SSM) is a method to approach, which can be use to create a steel material distribution flow model to increase execution time efficiency. actors involvement will be shown from the steps, which are 1) Problem situation considered problematic, 2) problem structures, 3) Root definition formulation, 4) Conceptual Model formulation, 5) Comparison between conceptual model and reality 6) systematic choices of change and 7) action to improve the problem situation. With the application of the Soft System Methodology (SSM), a model of the distribution flow of steel material is formed which is expected to be a solution for existing problems.
