Abstract :
Energy is a basic need for humans. The current energy needs mostly come from fossil energy such as coal, oil and natural gas. But this energy preparation will continue to fight. One alternative energy that can be applied in this issue is utilizing solar cell technology. In this study will be designed PLTS with ongrid system on rooftop villas in the area of Sentul City, Bogor, West Java. Then an ideal design will be made with the specifications of the equipment on the market. After that, the cost calculation is carried out and also calculates the output of electrical power produced. The results show the total area of 157.5 m2 obtained by the panel which is a solar panel with a capacity of 350 Wp as many as 60 pieces and an inverter with a capacity of 20 Kw as much as 1 piece. The power generated from the PLTS is 24,695 kWh per year. This design requires an initial investment of Rp. 225.500.000,- and also requires a PLTS fee of Rp. 17.957.304,-
