Abstract :
Concrete is widely used for infrastructure development in Indonesia. In this study
used ceramic fractional waste and pieces of used banner waste. Ceramic waste
is a building material that cannot be recycled anymore. Banners are a
promotional medium that is widely used with a certain validity period. Used
banners can cause environmental problems because they cannot decompose in a
short period of time. Concrete test objects made measuring 15x30 cm and
planned in accordance with SNI 7656-2012, the proportion of the mixture there
are 5 variations, namely normal concrete, the use of banner waste as an added
material with variations of 0%, 0.5%, 1% and 1.5% of the total weight of
concrete and ceramic fractional waste as a fixed variable which is 25% of the
weight of gravel. The test parameters are strong press, strong drag and
absorption. Strong press testing is done on days 7, 14 and 28 while strong tensile
and absorption testing is done at 28 days of age. The optimum press strength
value is obtained in variation 4 which is 26,893 MPa, the optimum tensile
strength is obtained in variation 5 which is 2.972 MPa, and the optimum
absorption value is obtained at variation 5 which is 0.384%.
