Abstract :
Concrete is a building material made from a mixture of composite materials
such as fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water, and cement that form a rocklike mass. In the processing of concrete mixing, there are several manufacturing
methods such as the site mix method, namely the method of mixing concrete
which is done manually by human power or with the help of a mixer (molen).
In addition, there is also the manufacture of concrete with the ready mix
method, namely mixing concrete which is carried out on a machine called a
Batching Plant into ready-mixed cast concrete in accordance with the desired
quality. The purpose of this research is to determine the quality of the concrete
on the pad and chimney on the tower foundation using two methods of mixing
concrete in terms of the concrete material used and the results of the
compressive strength test. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that
the quality of the material used in ready mix concrete is better maintained so
that the compressive strength test results are higher than site mix concrete. With
the results of an average compressive strength of 258,284 Kg/Cm2 for ready
mix and 234,980 Kg/Cm2 for site mix.
