Abstract :
The construction method is one of the factors that determine the time and cost
of the project. Conventional methods and precast concrete are one form of
method that is often used in the construction of building structures. Of course,
each method has advantages and disadvantages. Both interms of cost and time
efficiency. In this study, a comparison of floor slab work using conventional
methods and precast hollow core slabs on the Genomic Building Laboratory
Infrastructure Development project package 2 Cibinong, Bogor, used in this
study is the unit price of the city of Bogor, as well as some work plans or shop
drawings.
Based on a comparative analysis of the cost and time of floor slab work with
conventional methods and precast hollow core slabs, it was found that for
conventional floor slab work with conventional methods it took 70 days with a
total work cost of Rp. 2.883.811.000,- (Two billion eight hundred eighty
three million eight hundred eleven thousand rupiah)As for the floor slab
work using the precast hollow core slab method, it takes 84 days to work with
a total work cost of
Rp. 2.133.080.000,- (two billion one hundred thirty three million and eighty
thousand rupiah).
So it can be concluded in terms of cost that working on floor slabs using
conventional methods is more expensive than working on floor slabs using
precast hollow core slabs. However, in terms of processing time, the
conventional method saves more time for 14 days.
