Abstract :
Flooding is one of the problems that cannot be prevented, because it must be controlled and overcome to reduce the impact caused by the flood. The flood that occurred in Telaga Ria Sentani occurred because the water channel that became the place for water to pass cannot accommodate the amount of water when it rains, for that one way to overcome it is by using themethod Response and Recovery used in its mitigation, it really requires a response from the surrounding community and local government to cope with the flooding that occurred in Telaga Ria Sentani. The response is carried out by conducting a questionnaire that will be given to the surrounding community and users of the Telaga Ria Sentani road segment and for the recovery carried out by the government, the repair of waterways to be able to return to accommodate water with a calculated amount of rainwater discharge. From the results of the analysis of hydrological and hydraulic calculations, it is found that flooding can occur due to water channels that cannot accommodate rainwater when it rains and cause flooding on the Telaga Ria Sentani road section.
