Abstract :
The implementation of the Bridge 8 project requires a good method so as not to
disturb the work and the flow of the Kurus river. Steel Sheet Pile (SSP) is a
steel sheet that is used as a retaining wall to clog the soil and prevent water
from entering the dug hole. Sodetan is a river diversion method where part or
all of the river water in order to change the river flow so as not to interfere
with the construction process. The plan for making Sodetan aims to facilitate
the process of mobilizing heavy equipment without disturbing the water flow of
the Kurus river. This study aims to analyze the comparison of the SSP method
and the river Sodetan method, in order to obtain a method that can be applied
effectively and efficiently. From the calculation analysis, it was found that the
comparison of the time of the SSP method only requires 77 days, while the
Sodetan method takes 83 days, so that the SSP method is 6 days faster than the
Sodetan method. In terms of cost, the SSP method costs Rp 3,694,686,438.40
while the Sodetan method only costs Rp 237.285.069,19, which means that the
Sodetan method is more efficient at Rp 3.457.401.369 than the SSP method.
After being reviewed in terms of time and cost, the SSP method is faster to
spell. However, in terms of cost, the Sodetan method is more efficient.
