Abstract :
Concrete is one of the composite materials consisting of several materials
namely cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates and water and added
materials in accordance with the provisions. The use of added materials namely
stone ash and corn cob ash is done by a certain comparison and meets the
requirements as a concrete mixture. As well as the use of stone ash and corn cob
ash to make the most of underused waste. The purpose of this study is to find out
the value of strong press, slump test value and absorption. Test objects made in
the form of cylinders (15x30 cm) with a total of 60 samples. Concrete is planned
with fc' 25 MPa. The comparative percentage of stone ash is 40% of the weight
of sand and corn cob ash with variations of 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% of the weight
of cement. Strong press testing is performed at the age of 7 days, 14 days and 28
days while absorption testing is done at the age of 28 days. The result of this
study was the strong value of concrete press on normal concrete variation of
25.53 MPa with absorption value of 0.322% and slump value of 10 cm. Optimum
compressive strength found in variation 2 (stone ash 40% + corn cob ash 3%)
29.53 MPa with an absorption rate of 0.43% and a slump value of 9.7 cm. The
optimum absorption value is at a variation to 4 (stone ash 40% + corn cob ash
9%) 0.52% with a compressed strength of 27.17 MPa and a slump value of 9 cm.
