Abstract :
The splicing of iron by using a coupler and by using a bendrat has differences in terms of cost, quality, and time. The splicing is carried out starting from the work of cutting reinforcement, bending the reinforcement and assembling the reinforcement with a coupler connection and with a bendrat connection. The connection of the iron using a coupler is the connection of the two ends of the iron previously threaded to the coupler for the connection. While the connection of iron by using a bendrat is a connection by doing overlaps of two irons and will be tied by a bendrat so that the iron can be fused. The cost required for connecting the iron using a coupler is Rp. 100,639,534.8 while the cost of connecting with a bendrat is Rp. 108,919,679.5. The time it takes to use a coupler is 7 days, while bendrat takes 8 days of work.
