Abstract :
Project delays will cause an increase in labor costs and equipment
costs, although it does not result in an increase in the volume of work but can
increase material prices, this can occur due to the lack of optimal control
methods in the field. Projects that experience delays can be overcome by the
method of acceleration (crashing) by setting shifts labor. This research was
conducted at the Alam Sutera Skyhouse Apartment Project. Analysis of
duration acceleration is carried out on work that is on a critical path
withsettings shift. Calculation of material requirements and wages during shifts
is carried out using the 2016 Unit Price Analysis guidelines. After analyzing
the calculations on the work to be accelerated,duration will be obtained shift
the requiredaccording to the volume reviewed and the changes in costs can be
calculated. After accelerating shif methodt, the project can be accelerated for
12 working days so that the project duration from 972 working days becomes
960 working days. Direct costs have increased from Rp. 148.750.000.000,- to
Rp. 149.467.054,242,-. Indirect costs decreased from Rp.26.250.000.000,- to
Rp. 26.114.975.308,64,-. However, due to accelerated work on only 3 floors,
indirect cost did not giving a large decrease, not proportional to the increase in
direct costs , this resulted in the total project cost increasing by a difference of
Rp. 612.378.764,36,- from normal project.
