Abstract :
20kV distribution cubicle is a set of electrical equipment installed in distribution connecting substations that function as circuit breakers, voltage dividers, connectors, controllers and protection devices for the 20 kV voltage power supply system. One of the things that can cause a decrease in the reliability of a cubicle is the occurrence of interference, the disturbance itself can be caused by various factors, one of which is humidity. Humidity can cause corona interference, corona is a phenomenon that occurs when the air around a conductor or conductor is ionized due to increased humidity caused by a decrease in temperature, causing a discharge of charge resulting in insulation failure. In the research conducted, the method used is a quantitative method where data is obtained showing that the riser cubicle (Interface Transformer 3) indicates a corona disturbance that causes financial and material losses, this is proven visually, testing and calculations where the riser cubicle (Interface Transformer) 3) has a relative humidity = 84%, a corona voltage = 3,7319478962142 kV and a power loss = 4,0996426716698 kW. As a result of these disturbances, replacement of the cable termination and also the heater in the cubicle must be replaced.
