Abstract :
The technological development is helpful in all aspects. The MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) home is neeeded to avoid things that cause flood. This tool can be realized using an Arduino based Smartphone using the Blynk application. The components needed is the GSM SIM800L Module as the communication between Arduino and internet based application. The stepdown is used for supplying GSM's module voltage from 12V input to 4.7V output The relay as a voltage breaker. Then, the ultrasonic sensor used for determining water level and GSM simcard as the
communication access between the Blynk application and Arduino. The procedures of this tool are simulated by using a container as a reservoir. The container will slowly filled with water,if the water rises in a building that is submerged in water during a flood. The ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 is mounted facing downwards. If there is an increasing in level movement of water, it can be read immediately. In the
beginning of the manufacture, the tool will be determined how far the maximum level of water so it can be classified as a danger category. The value of the sensor reading based on the value that has been determined in the coding in Arduino, namely the distance of the water to the sensor. Then, the next command will be directly forwarded to the relay module as a trigger switch breaker. The electric network breaker is to avoid short line in electrical installation, where the condition of the relay from normal on will change to normal off. After completed. The information will be sent to the Blynk application via internet based on GPRS network by the GSM SIM800l module.
