Abstract :
Renewable energy has been widely used using technology, one of which is Solar Power Plants. The growth of users in urban areas such as Jakarta has increased every year. Solar Power Plants utilize solar radiation which is then converted into electrical energy using solar cells. The performance of solar panels can decrease by about 0.4% for every 1? increase in surface temperature. This research uses an additional tool in the form of a heatsink that can reduce or slow down the addition of the surface temperature of the solar panel. Heatsinks are applied to Solar Power Plants with on grid and hybrid systems during hot and rainy weather. From the results of this study, it is known that the decrease in the temperature of the solar panels has an impact on increasing the power generated. The highest temperature obtained when not using a heatsink can reach 55.74?, while the highest temperature for a panel using a heatsink only reaches 52.34?. This means that the use of heatsinks can lower the surface temperature of the solar panels. Solar Power Plants in sunny weather conditions using a heatsink produces the highest power on day 6 with a value of 18.19 kW, while the highest power produced by Solar Power Plants without using a heatsink is on day 1 is 13.71 kW
