Abstract :
In power distribution system, problem that generally occurs is the different of voltage value which sent from a distribution substation and voltage value that received by consumer in area where that distribution substation located. This Phenomenon of different voltage value usually called as voltage drop. It can be occured on medium voltage of feeder too. Generally it caused by load growth from the other distribution substation which located in same feeder also it can be caused by Medium Voltage Underground Cable which spread excessively that can result of increasing value of cable impedance that directly increasing the value of voltage drop in a feeder too. To fixs it, there are some methods which can be applied, one of these methods is network re-configuration. Beside applied the right method, ability to design an optimal network with several approaches which generally used by a network planner needed too. In this minithesis will be disscussed about fixing voltage drop that occurs in primary distribution side using software ETAP version 12.6.0 to simulate the network based on real one line diagram on feeder that applied network reconfiguration.
