Abstract :
Vendor selection is a very important stage because it must determine which vendors can work well together in business relationships. Therefore, a system is needed to select the right and quality vendors. The purpose of this vendor selection system is to obtain very fast and accurate ranking results based on an objective assessment. The TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method is used to determine the ranking of alternatives to obtain weights for each criterion and solution to the problem. To get the weights for each criterion and solution, you must first conduct interviews and literature studies by related parties company to collect data, then the data obtained will then be analyzed, after that the calculation design, UML and display are carried out. Then when you have finished coding and testing This research produces a web-based decision support system (DSS) using the TOPSIS method for selecting the best vendor.
