Abstract :
The Covid-19 virus is a deadly virus and has taken the whole world by storm. The spread of the Covid-19 virus has even entered Indonesia. To prevent the spread of the Covid-19 Virus, the Indonesian government has taken precautions by carrying out Covid-19 vaccinations for all Indonesian people. Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory for the people of Indonesia based on Indonesian Presidential Regulation Number 14 of 2021. Evidence from people who have vaccinated against Covid-19 is in the form of a vaccine certificate. To check the status of the Covid vaccination, you can go through the government application, vaccine certificate, but it is still found that some people still do not have a smartphone with the government application, such as in the Plaosan area, Magetan, East Java. This makes checking the status of vaccination hampered. Therefore, it is necessary to have tools and systems to check the vaccination status directly by using the chip number found on the E-KTP. This tool and system uses a NodeMCU microcontroller and an RFID reader and uses a string matching algorithm to search for vaccination data. The string matching algorithm used is the Knuth Morris Pratt algorithm. The result of testing the Knuth Morris Pratt algorithm in string search is 0.0137 seconds. This shows that the Knuth Morris Pratt algorithm is quite fast and optimal in searching tools and systems.
