Abstract :
Sidomulyo Farma Pharmacy is a place of business selling medicines located in Mojokerto, East Java. The sales process at the Sidmulyo Farma Pharmacy really requires forecasting of drug stock supplies with the aim of getting recommendations for the amount of drug use in the following month in order to avoid shortages or excesses in carrying out drug supplies. Therefore we need a drug inventory forecasting application with the website-based Single Exponential Smoothing method. The parameters used in predicting drug stock inventory are alpha = 0.1, alpha = 0.2, alpha = 0.3, alpha = 0.4, alpha = 0.5, alpha = 0.6, alpha = 0.7, alpha = 0.8 and alpha = 0.9. In Single Exponential Smoothing, a comparison is made by determining the alpha value at random to find the alpha value that has a minimum error by searching using the MSE (Mean Square Error) method. So the forecasting results have an alpha value and have the smallest error that will be used for forecasting in the next month. At the sample test stage, it was found that forecasting the inventory of OBH Combi Coughing up phlegm at the Sidomulyo Farma Pharmacy in January 2022 using the Single Exponential Smoothing method and alpha 0.1, the sales forecasting results were 145 bottles.
