Abstract :
PLTB stands for Wind Power Plant which essentially converts energy from wind movement into electrical energy through wind turbines or windmills. Monitoring is monitoring which can be described as being aware of what one wants to know, a high level of monitoring is done in order to be able to make measurements through time that indicate movement towards a goal or away from it. The system built by the author is a wind speed monitoring tool at a location to determine whether or not a location is good for the construction of a Wind Power Plant (PLTB). The author's research was conducted at the PLN Institute of Technology. In building a wind power plant (PLTB) requires a wind speed of at least 2.5 m/second. Based on the observations obtained by the system built by the author, the max wind speed value is 3.45m/s with a test point in the Central Lobby of the PLN Institute of Technology and the max wind speed value is 7.63m/s with a testing point for the Grass Field Institute of Technology. PLN. Based on the results above, it can be said that the PLN Institute of Technology can build a Wind Technology Power Plant (Wind).
