Abstract :
Learning the local language when translating it only using books, this method is considered old-fashioned and can make young people bored quickly in learning the local language because it is considered burdensome. Therefore, an interactive dictionary is needed that makes it easier for users, both those who are already familiar with technology and those who are not, with the construction or design of this translational dictionary. This translational dictionary is prioritized for immigrants who want to visit Aceh and the people of the Aceh region. the researcher is interested in making a translational dictionary of the Acehnese language. The translation dictionary will be developed via the web using PHP programming so that the dictionary can run well and can be accessed to help understand translating every sentence or Acehnese language well. By applying the Knuth Moris Pratth method in translating vocabulary so that the translator application can run well. This Knuth Morris Pratt method matches the words of each letter from left to right in carrying out the translation. The vocabulary translated by this method is 2306 which will be translated into a web-based translation dictionary. The Knuth Morris Pratt method which will be implemented in the translational dictionary in matching words gets the results of 0.00248 seconds.
