Abstract :
The implementation of the construction project is expected to be carried out
according to the planned schedule. The successful development of a project must meet 3
main aspects, namely cost, quality, and time. This is certainly not something that is easy
to do, it must be supported by good project management. It is undeniable that
unexpected things can happen during its implementation so that it can cause delays in
project completion and will have an impact on increasing project costs. In the
construction project for the Darul Iman boarding school building, there was a delay in
the 6th week. The solution for this delay will be analyzed using the crashing method
using additional working hours (overtime), and additional workforce. The alternative
will be analyzed against the risk costs to be incurred. Therefore, a method that is more
effective in its implementation and costs less acceleration is chosen. That is by using the
alternative of additional working hours (overtime). The cost due to the implementation
of the settlement with the alternative of additional working hours (overtime) using the
crashing method is Rp. 404,574,277.00 with a project work duration of 64 calendar days
or 25% faster than the normal duration.
