Abstract :
In the manufacture of construction, the most commonly used material is concrete.
Therefore, it?s very important to maintain the availability of materials by utilizing all
available sources to maintain the supply of needs in sustainable infrastructure
development. utilization of fly ash and red brick debris for example. This study was
conducted to determine how the effect of using fly ash as an additive in cement
aggregates, while red bricks were used as an additional material for sand aggregates. In
this study the addition of 10% fly ash and variations of red brick 10%, 15%, 20% 25%
with a mixed design referring to (SNI-7656-2012), for the compressive strength f 'c
design 21MPa, the Slump value is 75-100mm. The test parameters in question are the
slump test, compressive strength, and concrete absorption, the compressive strength test
is carried out at the age of 7, 14, and 28 days, while the absorption test is only at the age
of 28 days. From this study, it was found that the optimum compressive strength of 28
days old concrete was found in variation 1 (fly ash 10% + batamerah 10%) of 22,269
MPa with an average absorption value of 1.96% and a Slump value of 9.3 cm. The lowest
compressive strength is found in variation 4 (10% fly ash + 25% red brick) of 17.834
MPa with an absorption value of 2.83% and a Slump value of 7.6 cm.
