Abstract :
Asphalt mix is a combination using aggregate and a binder, namely Asphalt. There are
several combinations of asphalt mixtures that are commonly used in Indonesia, one of
which is the Hot Rolled Shet-Wearing Course (HRS-WC). In Indonesia, the type of
pavement used is commonly called flexible pavement or thin asphalt concrete layer
(lataston) which divided into two, HRS-WC and HRS-Base. In this research, the surface
layer (HRS-WC) is used, which is a graded asphalt mixture that uses a mixture of coarse
aggregate and fine aggregate. With an effort to utilize the addition of recycled agreat,
namely the rest of the concrete test sample which is reprocessed to be added material in
this test, the material was obtained from concrete laboratory of the PLN Institute of
Technology. This test was carried out using the marshall test and the cantabro test, with
variations in the addition of 3%, 3.5%, 4%, 4,5% and 5%. From here, we get the optimum
asphalt content of 7.2%, so that the marshall test results with the results of density,
stability, VIM, VMA, and VFA all meet the specifications, but only the flow with
variations of 3 % and 3.5% does not meet the requirements. The 2018 bina marga
specifications. In the cantabro test, it was found that 5.3% (<16) meet the specification.
