Abstract :
Since the promulgation of the state work safety regulations, implementing
companies are required to implement an occupational safety (K3) program for every
construction project in which they are involved. The purpose of this study was to find
out the K3 procedures, find out what K3 procedures were not implemented and what
were the risks if the procedures were not implemented in the PLTU Banten 3 Lontar
OMU Construction Project. In this study, descriptive quantitative methods were used
where data collection was carried out using a survey through questionnaires and
validated by experts for variable determination. Questionnaires that have been
validated by experts are 19 variables, these 19 variables are: X1 Checking appropriate
PPE; X2 Completeness of K3 Facilities; X3 Condition of K3 facilities; X4 Installation
of scaffolding; X5 Use of body harness; X6 Available APAR (Light Fire Extinguisher);
X7 First aid kit available; X8 Medical team available in the field; X9 OHS Signs
according to location; X10 OHS experts in the field; X11 OHS inspection by OHS
experts; X12 There is an occupational safety and health committee (P2K3); X13
Knowing about K3 regulations in the company; X14 Understand the contents of the
available K3 regulations; X15 The project has implemented the OHS policy; X16 Safety
Guidelines implemented in the company; X17 Morning Induction; X18 Implemented
emergency procedures; X19 Safety Patrol. distributed to 50 workers as respondents.
The results of the deployment are processed using SPSS. The processing results show
that there are 5 variables that are not implemented properly. The five variables are
sorted by risk rating from the largest to the smallest, Not checking for proper PPE, Not
carrying out emergency procedures, Not doing Morning Induction, Not knowing K3
regulations in the company, Not understanding the contents of K3 regulations which is
available.
