Abstract :
Electricity protection system is an aspect that is very much needed in the implementation of an electric power operating system. This protection is intended to prevent widespread interference that can disrupt the entire system. One way to overcome the problem of black out or total blackout on an electric power system or subsystem is to apply the Overload Shedding (OLS) scheme or release more load on the Interbus Transformer (IBT). In this paper discusses the scheme of Over Load Shedding in West Surabaya IBT1 & 2 and Gresik IBT1 in the Krian-Gresik subsystem. From the results of the research conducted, the OLS scheme setting on the Krian-Gresik subsystem was obtained. In the IBT1 condition West Surabaya trip was carried out 3 steps of 330MW. In the condition of IBT1, the Gresik trip was carried out in 3 stages of load release of 330MW and in IBT1 & 2 conditions West Surabaya Trip was carried out with 5 stages of release of 644MW. The load release simulation on IBT that was trip using the Digital Simulations and Electrical Neural Work Calculation Program (DIgSILENT) software.
