Abstract :
Government is developing a new renewable energy through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). One such renewable energy is the Solar Power Plant (PLTS). The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources together with PT PLN (Persero) seeks to develop PLTS as an environmentally friendly energy because it does not produce pollution of the air or produce waste. The development of PLTS is carried out in remote and urban areas, in housing and even in office buildings. Because the electricity needs are getting bigger every day, this can also help reduce the cost of spending for the payment of electricity for consumers. The development of PLTS is increasingly supported by the government with the new regulation regarding PLTS issued by ESDM namely ESDM Minister Regulation No. 49 of 2018 concerning PLTS Rofftop. The thing to note is also the feasibility of operating the installed PLTS. Observations from the PLTS operation on the office building from output data, irradiation, temperature, etc. turned out to affect the production of solar power plants. PLTS with a capacity of 50.82 kWp can supply electricity to the United Tractors Building and can reach an operating period of up to 10 years. Electricity production from PLTS is 5594.402 kWh on average each month.
