Abstract :
In electric power sistems, protection is the most important part. Damage to the protection sistem will cause damage to electrical equipment, if this happens will causes damage to electrical equipment, long enough outages and disrupt the process of providing electricity or production processes to consumers. Therefore improvement of service quality of PT. PLN (Persero) should get better as time increases so that customers or consumers can be satisfied.In this thesis will be discussed about setting the calculation of the existing relaiases in CBO and Bayu penyulang in Gandul substation. From the calculation found that the results of the calculation of the calculation on the CBO work faster than the result setting relai on outgoing side of the repeater. From the above data calculation results obtained relai time setting value on the outgoing side of the repeater is 0.7 seconds with the value of TMS is 0.46. While on the side of cubicle CBO obtained setting time relai is 0.29 seconds with TMS 0.19. The value proves the relai work on CBO cubicles faster than the reloading outgoing work of the feeder.
