Abstract :
Efficiency is needed in the operation of the transformer, the occurrence of hotspots on the transformer when there is a peak load, it can be indicated that there is an efficiency problem in the transformer, efficiency is a comparison of the input power with the output power in the form of percent, by looking for the apparent load, power factor and copper loss then we will be able to determine the efficiency of the transformer, and by using a comparison of calculations using a power factor of 0.8 and 1, the optimal load size for the transformer will be obtained
