Abstract :
The use of the PLTS system with the Tile Roof method, is one way of using
photovoltaic modules that are integrated into the architecture of the building and can
also replace part of the building cover, such as zinc. This method has better advantages,
compared to conventional systems. With the Tile Roof system, it does not require a standalone land allocation. This research was conducted in 1 unit of type 45 house on Jln.
Medan city fishing rod with a generated power of 3.78 kWp, and the panels used are 128
panels with a capacity of 30 Wp. The triangular roof area is 44m2. The inverter used is
1 unit with a power of 2000 W and a peak power of 4000 W inverter. The purpose of this
study is as a reference for planning PLTS On grid with the Tile Roof method to pioneer
the transition of renewable energy in house buildings, especially the construction of new
houses, so that they can build a better and more aesthetic PLTS system. The planning of
this Tile Roof method costs Rp. 101,576.152. In general terms, PLTS with the
conventional method is much more economical because there is no need to buy a roof
using the Tile Roof method. From the average daily load requirement of 16745 W/h, while
from the PLTS planning the Tile Roof method studied can produce 15857 W/h so that it
can meet the needs of around 94%.
